From the US, this looks like Canada showed Trump that you can hurt US tech companies if Canada doesn't get a fair trade deal. They sure were panicked. And it's a model for others to follow if they don't get a fair trade deal with the US.

Perhaps this report is more about inflation than actual wealth. Compare the cost of a modest suburban home in the 70s to today. A couple can easily have a net worth of over a million while living paycheck to paycheck these days.

I visited Asheville in both April and May. I usually stay in the Tennessee side because I'm traveling from the North, but I decided to spend my tourism dollars where it could help. I'll be back to explore further. Pic from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
