Had an exciting meeting with DCB/Cormorant Books yesterday to plan the promo campaign for Our Little Secret, the upcoming thriller I wrote with my son, Mikhael Klassen-Kay. Our publisher has some fun, imaginative ideas for promoting OLS, and are excited for it to be adapted for gaming and TV too!

Visited a border town called Crystal Beach this weekend, part of my new goal of keeping my quick getaways to within Canada. What struck me were the number of historical markers showing where Americans invaded, thinking they would walk in and we'd be cheering for them to take over. Makes you think...

What a difference five years makes. Saw this excellent production of Come From Away last night. But it was like remembering an innocent time when you were in love with someone before they cheated on you, gave you herpes and ran up $10K of debt on your Visa card. Ugh.
