It has been suggested I need a more futuristic font for this image, but all the fonts I can find that stand out as futuristic I find hard to read.

After my last opportunity to hand sell my novels I got to thinking more about creating a table banner to help show off my table. This is what I've come up with a this time with the idea of having the finished product ready to display at a table in mid November. What do you think?

Here is what I've come up with so far. I don't yet know how to handle the four corners where the edgings meet. Once I've figured that out I will seek ways to give the overall image some texture.

Still working on the idea of a zoom backdrop for podcasts and other virtual setups. Here is the picture I used as the template to get the 3d elements in perspective. The actual bridge hatch wall will go where the pillar juts into the corridor.

For some time now I have been playing with the idea of how great it would be to have a zoom background that would make it look like I'm sitting on the bridge of the ship in my stories. This is my first attempt to turn that idea into a reality.

It would be so easy to follow her. He stepped to the inner hatch and looked down to where she stood in actual sunlight several paces beyond the outer edge of the gangway. He grabbed the hatch edge. The sky didn’t really steal one’s breath. The whir of large engines reverberated up the passage, growing louder with time. He remembered the roar of another engine, the blind terror with which he’d run to huddle in the farthest corner of the airlock. This could wait until things had settled. A step back restored his view through the monitor.

After 4 months of recovery from my knee surgery I am now up to taking short walks along some of the river walk trails I often frequented before the accident.
River water rippled by the rocks underneath from above a beach point families enjoy wading out from in the summer.

“That’s it,” Trynamour said. “All you need do is ease us into it.” The first few minutes went by simulator-perfect. Konhor bucked as the air grew thicker. Surface sensors told him they were heating fast. He prayed this trip would not reveal some fatal hull flaw and adjusted their attitude. The time came to bring the atmospheric control systems online. Konhor responded with agonising slowness, then he had it. A light gasp from Trynamour made him realise she’d been holding her breath. New instructions cut him short. Compliance put them on course to drop into the upper edge of a weather front that promised a short but bouncy ride before they entered the clear air over the port. He wiped his clammy hand on his not-so-fresh pant leg.

At one point I played with creating a 3d model of the ship my characters travel between stars in. While there have been changes in the design since those days, I still get joy out of looking at what I was able to accomplish back then.

Niv and June first made an appearance on Father's day, and, in spite of the whole space-time-alternate universe thing have continued to put in regular visits to see how their story is going.
