Okay neat, thanks! I'll give it a shot.

Amazing that you're getting this kind of performance. It's going to save a lot of hair follicles from being pulled out.

It's possible to get this kind of performance on CI. At least for people who can take on the overhead of supporting caches for their CI runners.

I was coming at this from the perspective of a self-hosted CI like owning your own agents/runners. But that makes total sense for fully managed CI platforms. I suppose the package manager could provide some sort of cache control mechanism. But now we're adding complexity

Would be really interested to see something like this brought to CI. I imagine it would need to be a coordinated effort between a package manager and a CI provider. If you could have a warm cache for builds in CI, that would be awesome. Especially if it had low config overhead.

I get what you mean, but comparing impacts of essentially the same lie and embellishment is just excusing the lesser of two evils.

I’ve heard it called “ the cool kids argument” as in, all the cool kids are doing it so we should too.

I forget where I heard that though.

The Liberal Party even refused to give Dane Lee's contact information to CTV News.

Seriously... I cannot find anything on Dane Lee

I understand it's a Conservative stronghold so party resources are focused elsewhere but this is really embarassing.

Use smartvoting.ca instead of strategic voting. Let's stop splitting the votes. Know who is going to do better in your riding and vote for them.
Ending The Vote Split. One Riding At A Time
SmartVoting.ca is a one stop tool voters in Canada can use to see who is the best party to vote for in their riding to prevent a Conservative win.

Historically illiterate sums it up pretty well. It’s a perfect example of how the lines of “us” and “them” are laughably arbitrary.

Yeah exactly, it’s blood and soil rhetoric. Not supposed to be accurate, instead it’s emotive.

They’re tracing their lineage to the Holy Roman Empire. These people really want another Charlemagne. Calling it “Germany” is just the label they want to slap on it.

The amount of companies just trying to shoehorn AI into their products is insane. It’s gotta be somewhere in the 70-80% range of companies I’ve encountered in the last 2-3 years.

Pretty sure product owners are getting bonuses for it

There’s enough money flying around in SV venture land they really don’t need to be public. So yeah I suspect it’s all about hoodwinking VCs.

However, like New Power some of those institutional OpenAI investors might be pension funds, mutual funds, etc. small fish buying the hype.
