One of the things I enjoy most about our trips to Lake Gaston is being up early and sitting on the deck drinking my iced coffee. Just total silence except for the sounds of nature.

Six years ago today I was selected to work the semi’s and final of the KHSAA Softball State Championship. If you officiate high school sports getting to do a state final is the pinnacle!

Having Emmitt the Adventure Dog and Kara the Cat along on these trips makes them more fulfilling. Not easy living in a 20 ft van for weeks at a time!
