All very true!! I think, for my case, it was on me for the most part. I’m the child, so what could my aunts do in reality. Not that I didn’t want everyone to be okay, but my parent’s knew what they wanted and I knew too. Cremation and I’ll be scattering their ashes in their fav places.

It’s in a way, silly. Like I’m not taking that away from my parent’s just bc their family doesn’t agree. I’ve know their wishes for YEARs and they voiced it a lot. It was my honor to do that for them… and fight off the family haha

Yep. I knew and it was in their wills. But boy-oh-boy did family voice their religious opinions on that. Ugh. We went with my parent’s wishes lol
