your work is excellent, and you will continue to do excellent work. now may be time for rest

i watch and listen to and read whatever strikes my interest. i take notes. i go on walks. i try a new restaurant. i talk to friends. i talk to someone new.
all these little life things are as much a part of the work i do as is sitting at a piano or in Ableton.

nowadays when i get this feeling, i switch away from trying to create and instead try to take in a lot of new media, try to learn new things, and live life. when writing music feels terrible and i lose faith, i practice new songs on guitar or try a style of singing that's new to me.

ive felt this way many times before about my own work (i do music), and have "given up" a handful of times. those times turned out to really just be breaks. rest is important, and needs to be taken every so often in order to do creative work.

each has their pros & cons, no doubt about it. here's the main rub that's got me so indecisive:
if i go to college, it would be to get more knowledge.
but if i went to Jupiter, i would be going to get more stupider.

this is a big decision for me. any input you can give would be greatly appreciated.
