this very well could be good and fun and i hope that it is. but im tired of premises that go out of their way to be Different than the rest, especially in a subgenre as niche as mummy movies lmao. like we havent even had a scary one of these in almost 50 years. just do that!

hoping by time they get around to the next remake i’ll be in a position to make it bc 1) i really want to 2) my version is good and also importantly 3) get this, a scary movie about an egyptian mummy!
