I don't think this is a winner takes all scenario. It's true for edge applications in medicine, engineering, physics, etc. But for the use case of 99.99% of people, the difference between the best model and a chinese open source model will be small.

Tesla's cars do have mechanical handles inside. But there are some critical issues:
* The interior mechanism for the back door is not easy to find.
* It's really hard to open it from the outside if the passengers are not responsive

We don't need to ban hidden door handles. Instead, we should be thinking about banning only electronic locks.
It's not the same. There are hidden handles that aren't electronic, they're purely mechanical.

Correct
But needs some clarification:
The vote was a NON-BINDING advisory proposal for the board to authorize to invest in xAI
The vote results were:
For: 1.06 billion votes
Against: 916.3 million
Abstained: 473 million
The majority voted FOR but the absolute majority not reached due to abstention

You need to know that TV shows are just for fun, not for training.
😅
Physics laws don't show up on TV.

You should read the article first:
"designed to reduce reliance on external charging"
Designed in Dubai, it could be helpful there.
The solar tech is evolving quickly, improving eficiency.

Just…..why??

TikTokers are really into clicking. It's probably a fake story.

As you said, it's "potential".
We are not at level 5 of autonomy, therefore, there is no data.
IMHO, level 5 could bring a level of safety unattainable by humans, no distraction, multiple "eyes" sensors, no alcohol, no phone.
It makes sense.

Yeah, contagion would be bad for many countries, especially China, Canada, and Mexico.

Not for AI products

Tech bros will be fine.
Investors and pension funds are the ones who would bear the brunt. Chinese AI companies would be thrilled.

I'm thinking there'll be a correction in the stock market, not a sudden colapse.
