‘Man’s’ may be out-dated, but Viktor Frankl’s (1946) 'Man’s Search for Meaning' is a classic book about the holocaust, and on my ‘to-read’ pile. The title is a translation anyway (and arguably snappier than the first title it was given, 'From Death-Camp to Existentialism').
