She is a PK, so saw a lot of the “ugly” that happens behind the scenes at church, so she is very aware that religious trauma is prevalent. We had some great conversations during June about Pride and homosexuality/gender.

And most of the time the boundary is honored. If she says anything that I think crosses it (like “women are created to…”) I call her on it and she’s responsive. End/

I’m a exvangelical who now waffles between agnostic and atheist most of the time. My therapist is a Christian. She and I talk very openly about the differences in our beliefs, but specifically she’s not there to be my spiritual guide…she’s there for my mental health. 1/
