TBH I’ve still got the lingering cough I picked up from MCM London and am still burnt out as hell. Planning Christmas art, might post some sketches at some point, might even write another blog post or two in the meantime.

Not to mention the cosplay masquerade and firefly lounge. Some of the most beautiful performances I have ever seen! You just had to be there!

Events like the 3 minute presentation challenge- which I’d overlook in a con with a bigger artists’ alley- are not only fun as all hell, they let you get in touch with the culture and counter-culture that is neurodivergent hyperfixations on nerd shit!

First impressions:
This might be the most fun I’ve had at a convention in a long time! While artists’ alley may just be 2 small rooms, it gives you more time for activities and events.
Since the con is at a hotel, you can go back to your room at any time, so it’s a lot more relaxed.
