I can’t remember who we are with but they paid five years ago when a storm came through and took down trees. We seem to be in a storm belt. In ‘89 a small tornado same through town and up here on the mini mount. Roofs were ripped off bldgs at the shopping center.

Our insurance will probably pay to take the rest of the trees down. I will miss them as they shade the house in summer helping cool it, saving on A/C.

Our generator is a whole house generator so we have electricity as if nothing was wrong, heat, hot water, lights, the whole thing. It’s good we bought that NOAA radio as it gives us AM/FM radio for news. Generator runs on natural gas so we’re probably going to have a big gas bill.

Our power comes in from the next town and they got hammered too. There are street blockages up the street towards the tower. The police/fire had 30 calls come in for help in our town between 11am and 1pm. There were transformers on fire in places. It was like a tornado came through.

The ferret video was cute. It came through 👍 okay. We’re live near a big water tower on which are many cell transmitters. I think some of the transmitters got taken out by the storm which had 81 mph winds. My phone is running on 5G not the usual 4G LTE.

I’m calling it a day. Still no electricity or television. I’ve just been texting with my brother and emailed my cousin. Sent my brother pictures of his car & the tree to take to his insurance agent. How was your day? Did you shop? How are you feeling? Good night and lots of hugs from us all!

Yes we are running on generator power. Thank dog we had the generator serviced a week ago.

5/n taking out part of our back fence. Luckily not deep enough to expose the dogs. The fence will have to be fixed. Oh well. The pizza was good.

4/n the generator is running. The tree people w/ their huge truck are here to clear some of the giant tree. My brother is gone for home. The insurance adjuster has been called and should come next week. Agree came down out back too

3/n we have no electricity and my brothers car has no back window. The tree blocked the driveway and they couldn’t get out to go home. Bob & brother cleared a path thru the tree so they couldn’t leave.

Good morning. 4 inches of ice dams! Jim did do an amesome job. We got rid of our gutter guards last year. They collected pollen which was as bad as leaves. 52 here this morning. My brother comes today hopefully. Breakfast time. Have a good day!
