It may not make my list, but I think i have to give an honorable mention to Quackshot starring Donald Duck. That game was ridiculously fun in my childhood (heck, Disney had quite a run on the NES/Genesis/SNES)

I think I rented this from Blockbister when I was obsessed with dinosaurs around 8 years old. There were quite a few and then some after Jurassic Park came out.

Im just talking about temporary traversal, unless you REALLY want to spend 5 minutes running across a map to get to a zone.

True, there is something about not restocking and only having those items in your inventory to work with for the hunt. Maybe G-Rank in that case just doesnt allow restocks, rides, or Palicos. Just need to allow hunters to climb or zip around with wirebugs to different areas in large maps.

I understand that Master Rank has replaced G-Rank, what im suggesting is a post Master Rank that is harder and call it G-Rank for the masochists out there.

I still need to play Dos, but from what I have seen with the first game from MANY reviewers/retrospectives, unless I really want to experience pain with the control scheme, it can be skipped. G-Rank I think is something that probably needs to be added to modern games beyond Master Rank.

You would think it would be easy, but given how many clones have tried to make it work, there is something special about the series. I do believe that those like myself who came in after World should give the old games a try, but there is a reason why the series took the form it did after Tri.
