Check out Wil Stevens on IG - very good colored pencil approach. Bella Rachlin is pretty rad too with a mixed media approach.

If the main media is colored pencils, I suggest getting some gouache for highlights, and watercolor pencils to help fill in larger areas, it'll save tons of time.

Ah, yeah I've gone thru many different media choices during making comics. It really comes down to what you enjoy creating with the most. That will be where your time is spent; in the process. So try to enjoy that time the best you can!

Which did you read? There are many comic art styles from oil painting, gouache, ink and watercolor, charcoal and digital colors, traditional ink and digital colors, all digital, etc.
