You know, when that Hobby Lobby case passed at SCOTUS I knew this kind of crap was going to happen. It was just a matter of time.

This was not an Opinion Essay for an English class. Science classes require a completely different style of writing (see APA, MLA style). This has nothing to do with free speech. The graduate assistant was correct.

Good grief. Why bother going to University if you refuse to distinguish beliefs from facts and science? It’s your right to believe what you want to believe, but recognize that your beliefs are personal and inappropriate to share in an empirical assignment.

It definitely should not matter, but it gives these folks yet another excuse to claim discrimination against their religious views. It's really quite telling if she went to TP first.
