I am afraid that a lack focus on an existential problem will doom us.
Universal health care should be a right. The minimum wage should be a living wage. Climate change must be stopped. The hungry and homeless must be helped.
None of which will happen under Trumpism.
That's the target.

This doesn't mean everyone's rights are truly equal or complete, or whatever; but since our founding, there have been gains that are in great danger of being rolled back.

I get being pissed that our capitalist system doesn't work for everyone, and the complicity of Democrats in that.
But the time calls for the politics of addition, not division.
