Why trust him if he's already shown he'll throw us under the bus at the first opportunity? The comparison to Obama is bogus; this isn't a case of him being insufficiently for process, he actually wants to take rights *away*. And he's getting steadily more extreme.

Oh probably. I don't actually think the Epstein files matter because no one is going to step down because of them. I think the only way Trump leaves before the end of his term is if his health completely fails.

Every reddit thread now seems to have at least one low-effort AI response. Since Reddit makes a lot of money selling post information as AI training data, I'm pretty sure we'll soon see model collapse due to them consuming their own effluvia.

Everyone's wondering what'll happen with SB79, too. All the housing advocates are going to be incensed at him if he vetoes it.

My theory is he knows being Governor of California will paint him as a lefty, so he's trying to tack right. The problem is he was already in the center to start with. He didn't leave himself the kind of maneuvering room he'd need for that strategy, because he doesn't think very far ahead.
