Certainly agree with you there, people just really like farmers for some reason, their PR is incredible. Personally I think its a side effect of supermarket advertising, 'British beef' 'local potatos' and all that. Maybe also the distribution of seats to rural areas with lop pop - a magnified impact

That's a good one, i've changed my mind, let's never build another solar panel on virgin land ever again.

One of the main reasons China is so sucsessfull in the green energy transition, where others are failing, is because they are unafraid to build out industry. Not every plant is sacred, ugly solar farms mean cheap clean electricity. This is a good thing.

Some times you've got to destroy a habitat to make room for new infrastructure - give it a few years some of the foliage will have grown back and it'll look much nicer.

Whereas English speakers famously call all places by their local names - looking at you München (Munich) and you Vein (Vienna)

This misses that you have to pay human drivers, but driveress cars take no wage - also every taxi service, traditional or otherwise, has to shut down when noone needs a ride, its not a new problem for self driveing vehicles
