They may have got a reading of 167 kph from their instrument and just converted that to one decimal place. 🤷‍♂️

This technology exists and is present in many cars. Not just odor but also eye monitoring, pulse sensing, posture detection and speech analysis. Like telematic speed control, it may not be 100% perfect but it's there and it could be made mandatory tomorrow.

Who are they arguing with? Who are these scornful Europeans denying that all the protests of the last decade happened?

As a Yorkshireman, he would perhaps have been better advised to change his name to Ken Bingsley.

The world's first all-leather submarine.
Advantages: cheap, light, invisible to radar.
Disadvantages: water getting in through the lace holes.

Frankly, any media outlet that plays or prints Trump's drivel without explicitly saying that he's lying, up front and every single time, deserves to be ignored and go into the dustbin of history.

Broadly agree with this. People are quick to blame lies on social media but they wouldn't be nearly as effective if the professional media weren't enthusiastically repeating the lies and failing to meaningfully challenge them, including supposedly better orgs such as the BBC.

Fair play to Polanski for how he's doing but it would be more accurate to call it the 'Keir Starmer effect'.

So demand more from the roads budget. More money for active transport means more money to make things better for wheelchairs, tricycles, mobility scooters, etc.

Also, very many disabled people actually can cycle. It's a lot easier than driving.

600k deaths so far. Credible estimates suggest over 10 million deaths by the end of the decade. He'll go down as one of the great monsters of history.

If I had a moderate mobility disability, I'm sure I would see standing in queues for an hour or so and then walking half a mile to the gate with a suitcase as a challenge and an opportunity.
