Wow! Tomorrow’s world premiere of Gaelic cantata, Ceòl na Mara, is getting closer - just had eve of concert rehearsal with musicians at St Vincent’s Chapel in Stockbridge. And what a view from the choir stalls! Sat, we June, 7.30, free.

Really looking forward to this in Edinburgh tomorrow! Maoilios Caimbeul’s Gaelic words and John Glenesk Mortimer’s score for Ceòl na Mara are as vital, urgent and quixotic as the ocean itself. Gorgeous and grateful yet damning about human impact on the ocean
