The idea and intro vid are cool www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGzt.... The concept wasn't properly tested before they went all in and then had to dial it back a lot. Beta versions had too many contrast issues (among other things), so now it is a sucky compromise.

Did you ever watch a lot of anime or other Japanese video? It already sort of clicks for me and I'm not trying to learn Japanese. I think it's the intonation together with the subs.
