The coliseum was an outdated eyesore when I last lived in Madison over 25 years ago. Tear it down, build condos etc. With its proximity to the belt line, olin park and the square - can't believe this wasn't torn down years ago.

This particular situation is not comical but reminds me of the scene in Beverly Hills Cop - hey chief don’t you want to hear my side of the story? Inspector Todd - what is your side of the story? Foley - let’s hear your side of the story. Onward.

100%. Kuzdzal is a decent/good player but he’s not a difference maker and hasn’t had the reps.

Chuck Todd on the political industrial complex? C’mon man. Sadly, I think he thinks he is some truth teller.

I love this. My lasagna didn’t turn out. Illegal immigrants. Lions got called for a terrible PI. Illegal immigrants. I can’t find my reading glasses…

The msm sucks but Dems also need to point it out in every media hit. Epstein, kidnapping, illegal violence and violent rhetoric against citizens should be standard talking points. It also has the benefit of being true.

I do love that Larry Summers thought I can hang on, they won’t dare to fire me. That he thinks this and people thought his opinion on anything was worth a shit for the last 20 years…. Well it speaks for itself and where we are as a country.
November 20, 2025 at 12:39 AM
Well why not both and Johnson’s own story about his family etc. is bizarre on its face which has always been an underreported imo. I doubt he has any connection to Epstein but once people start looking under rocks….
November 19, 2025 at 11:52 AM
Cynicism aside, every Republican but one voting to release the Epstein files isn’t nothing.

So Trump said some BS. I have no idea what he means so I will wildly speculate.

It has been 10 years and they have no plan and most have zero concept of how health care works or given a single thought as to why the US spends tons more money for equal or lesser outcomes with the rest of the wealthy world.
November 16, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Hah - I have a good buddy. Name would be known in Dem/progressive circles but not a household name. His Jake Tapper - why are you not responding to me!!!! because Tapper took offense at something said about him that was true is a doozy. The thin skin of our elite is an amazing thing.
November 14, 2025 at 5:56 PM
I agree. It’s more about access and “respect.” I have spent some time around the ultra wealthy (just by job circumstance) and it is the strangest group. When money doesn’t matter other status markers do. The blistering insecurities among them despite the facade is another reason we are here.
November 14, 2025 at 2:21 PM
They would rather earn less/lose money under Trump than pay marginally higher taxes. It is insane.
November 14, 2025 at 1:55 PM
We have repelled the U.S. advance and are crushing them! Honestly Bagdad Bob at least had some charm.
November 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Would have loved to have been at that planning meeting. Bury it? Hmm. Cut it up? Nah. What is it Larry - we got a bunch of dynamite in the shed and Fred’s got some training.
November 13, 2025 at 1:49 AM
It's very smart politics - unless you think repubs are gonna come up with an awesome health care plan in the interim. I don't. Repubs feeling heat because Dems are finally making them responsible for political outcomes. Go Dems! And Duffy keep cancelling flights, it's working. Trust me Sean.

Maybe it's just me but this tactic reminds me Sheriff Bart in blazing saddles holding himself hostage.
November 6, 2025 at 12:08 PM
John Rocker is still alive? Did not know that. Seems like he’s up to some solid stuff.
November 5, 2025 at 11:52 PM
Call me crazy but Jay Jones “controversy” seems like a guy saying some stuff off the cuff to somebody he trusted. I don’t know how old he was but if he had a R after his name it would have been dismissed as a youthful indiscretion which if you are a R lasts till about 50. For a Dem 12.
November 5, 2025 at 6:43 PM
I, for one, am happy Johnson heard there were elections yesterday. He usually isn’t aware of things. So progress?
November 5, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Like who is his audience for this message?
November 5, 2025 at 4:18 PM
Those “elites” choosing appeasement were making a choice. With this blowout result, no plausible deniability of one continues to make that choice.
November 5, 2025 at 1:43 PM
I love this rule. Dems are made to answer for something some untenured community college professor says. Repubs apparently have zero idea what Trump says. We need to stop playing this game.
November 4, 2025 at 3:14 PM
So Washington Post will not endorse a candidate for President but has views on who is going to be mayor in a city four hours away. Got it.
