But when WandaVision features an appearance from Evan Peters and it turns out he's NOT playing the FoX-Men version of Quicksilver but a nobody named Ralph Bohner?

Well then, everyone loses their minds!
If, in Deadpool & Wolverine, they have a throwaway line about Ben Affleck's Daredevil being bumped off, or a graphic scene of Chris Evans's Human Torch getting flayed alive, nobody panics, because "at least they got closure".
You know what I've noticed? Nobody panics when a legacy hero gets closure. Even if their end is horrifying!
...well, I didn't care for Rise of Skywalker either, but responsible for COVID? Even Salt n Pepa, Matchbox 20, Tool would tell this guy that he's pushing it...and pushing his luck.

Besides, if there was a movie that caused God to punish humanity, it was more likely Cats.

If @vaultdisneypod.bsky.social ends up doing the Guy Ritchie version of Aladdin, I made an Alan Menken-flavoured remix of the Fresh Prince theme.

If you require the instrumental for your own parody lyrics, I'll be happy to provide it.

Conservatives: "Wah! Why does all liberal media default to Nazis as the bad guys? Why can't they do like us and stereotype all queer people as sex offenders or all atheists as devil-worshippers or all non-white people as terrorists?!?"
Guys, if WB didn't feel obligated to allow the "Snyderverse" to co-exist as an elseworlds version along more traditional DC projects like Shazam or Blue Beetle or James Gunn's Superman, then Disney shouldn't be obligated to do the same with FoX-Men or Raimiverse Spider-Man.
this is a comment I received when I uploaded a compilation of @linkara.bsky.social critiquing the fight scenes in the Star Wars prequels.

Um, what? What's the critique here?
There's LOADS OF MONEY to be made from porn and erotica.

Why does capitalism insist on taking the moral high ground HERE?
Friendly reminder - the #RecastTChalla crowd only care about the recasting of that ONE specific character and not anyone else who should have already been recast by now.
If you found the Love Bug TV movie with Bruce Campbell in that collection, keep that safe.
Family Guy is literally the only modern outlet that continues to push the "Walt Disney was antisemitic" myth, and those are mostly gags.

I guarantee, your sources in some way lead back to Family Guy, even if it came from someone parroting someone else parroting Family Guy.

Don't watch Family Guy but OK mark.
AND you need better sources than Family Guy gags if you want to claim that Walt Disney was anti-Semitic.

Mel Gibson is bigger Nazi than Walt Disney ever was.
Because Family Guy keeps peddling the myth that Disney was allegedly an anti-Semite.
You know, The Island and Sucker Punch are kindred spirits.

Had it not been for the subsequent studio work-for-hire jobs that were lined up for them (and they weren't initially interested in), these box-office flops would have likely killed the careers of their directors.
Walt Disney wasn't even anti-semitic. That's a myth.
You know, this whole "vaccines/tylenol causes autism" thing feels like the people perpetuating it watched the movie Scanners and reacted the same way the Thermians reacted to Galaxy Quest.
I just heard a rumour of HBO Potter potentially casting a woman as Voldemort, even though she'd be playing a man.

Aside from the fact that we already got the best version via Christian Coulson, that would just reinforce the author's transphobic views in a way that the movies didn't.
Oh, and the Guy Ritchie version of Aladdin just made Jafar less explicitly evil.

Congratulations - you just sucked out everything that made him interesting, you moron!!

People used to criticise the characters in Aladdin and Lion King trusting the villains initially, despite them obviously being evil...

IDK, seems pretty realistic now.

I hope Bill Hicks and Tool weren't completely right about the future of CA.
Weird idea - what if the reason Doctor Doom looks like Tony Stark is because Deadpool thought the Sacred Timeline needed its anchor being, and swiped a Stark variant...only it was the one who became Doom?
