I had two amazing, exciting job opportunities: 1) digital health systems management across Africa and 2) working with injectable HIV PrEP. Both gone because of USAID and CDC funding gone. 1% US budget. I felt I was contributing to global health; now I’m just trying to pay rent.

I've gotten a few new follows lately and i want to reassure people i do work in ID/HIV. I just pulled more visits to review for our anal cancer screening study, since there's no current data around this for southern AZ.

I have a big ask. My 9yo son is autistic and he’s been raising a betta fish he named Kevin. Yesterday He asked if he could “share a photo of Kevin with the whole world“. I don’t know if this will work, but a dad’s gotta try. Like and share if that’s your thing. Kevin says hi! 🐟👋
