Canada's national warning system has an alert category for meteorites?! Is Canada plagued by meteorites? How would that even worked? Is there a minimum space rock size requirement to alert the public? They have a falling objects category, why do meteorites get a special category? Many questions

I can't get over the fact that Canada's national warning system has three (3) separate alert categories for different flavors of volcanic rock flows. Canada hasn't had an eruption since it became a country.

✨Fun Fact about Trains✨ The batteries that power the emergency lights only last about 3 hours. How do I know this? I was stuck on a dead train in a tunnel for 4 hours. It was very dark.
