In accordance with U.S. Flag Code, U.S. flags are lowered to half-staff and remain there for 30 days upon the death of a U.S. President or former President. Anyone who raises the U.S. flag today is in violation of U.S. Flag Code and there is absolutely nothing patriotic about that. #JimmyCarter
