EKOenergy's Climate Fund enables people in disadvantaged communities to implement their renewable energy projects.

It's always encouraging to receive news about the concrete and impactful results of projects we fund.

Renewables 2025! -> The IEA’s annual report on the renewable energy sector projects that global renewable power capacity will double over the next 5 years.
= An increase in capacity equivalent to the combined total power generation capacity of CN, the EU, and JP.

In May 2025, we granted €59,544 from our Climate Fund to the Togolese organisation VAADD, enabling them to install two multifunctional solar platforms in Togo.

These will power corn milling, rice husking, water pumping and more!

We just received an update. The project is advancing well!

Today, we enjoyed a short visit to a nature area in the middle of the city!

Areas like this are important for both people and animals, but most would have disappeared if it weren't for past civil activism.

In June, we granted €59,544 to the Togolese NGO VAADD. The grant enables them to install 2 multifunctional solar platforms, 12 KVA each, in villages in southern Togo. The project also includes access to clean water + training.

They just shared news & photos: the preparations are progressing well!
