So turns out Muppet guy only posted that as rage-bait, something that he admits is not very good at. Had me worried there for a sec. I was about to completely lose faith in humanity.

Unpopular opinion: I actually like the millennial gray wood floor look. I feel it just makes bright colored decor pop more. Plain beige apartment walls can fuck of though.

Before people lose their every loving shit tonight over the vote, some words. From what I'm understanding, this was not a vote actually END the shutdown, it was a vote to agree to actually bring it to the floor properly to negotiate and vote. It then needs a final Senate vote, THEN House vote.

Not everything needs to be automated. Not everything needs to be streamlined. Those "boring" parts of the project that you think should automated, more often than not are the best teaching moments in art. And we as a species need the ability to hone our problem solving skills more than ever.

Continuing from my mini rant earlier. The guy responded to my reply on his comment DOUBLING DOWN on his position,which he stated he "wasn't an artist BUT". Well sir, I *am* an artist, having studied it for almost 90% of my life, with my BFA to prove it, SIT YOUR UNEDUCATED, IGNORANT ASS DOWN.

I just saw a comment on Threads (my first mistake) on a clip of The Wind Rises (Ghibli film) saying how hand drawing each frame is a waste and that AI should have been used to do the in betweens because it would be "cheaper".

Nothing like finding a old toy line you used to play with in the 90s online and immediately have every memory of it (including the jingle) come rushing back to you like a sleeper agent hearing their trigger words. Amazing how the mind works.

Finally went on a walk for the first time in ages tonight before it got dark. Part way on my way back, I start feeling kind of funny. Nothing bad, just, funny. Decided to finish my walk and see how I felt after. It was only after I got home that I realized the reason I was feeling FUNNY 🧵
