I just listened again ... was gonna "change channel", but was walking the dog and couldn't be arsed. This is the apathy level Spurs have dragged me down to.

Yeah sure Porro didn't have a good game with his passing, but it is not "a Porro problem". I don't think picking out one stat from one player is helpful (or useful).

There's a lot of misplaced passes aren't there!? I think the problem is not so much that the players can't pass, but that the system is not putting players in positions to receive passes.

Particularly with offsides. The rule was created to prevent "goal-hanging", not to penalize fractional timing issues. imo, if you can't see it's offside from a quick look at a freeze-frame, then it should be treated as onside.

You could put Harland up too for use and we'd still get 0.2xG -- no progression. That failure to threaten is on Franks safety-first ethos.

We can say we have a recruitment problem while still disagreeing that the club is in transition - I'm not even sure the two things are correlated. Both happen to be true, and what Frank says is true. We can also say that Frank is not getting the players performing to the level they are capable of.

Good question. I'd like it to be Frank, but we've been pretty bad under him so far .... not sure how long he has if we keep being this bad. Right now, I want to give him the season and talk to Poch after the World Cup.
