Well that’s just maddening. Seems as though a government account singling out one individual citizen, misattributing their words and subjecting them to harassment and ridicule should come with the opportunity to take action against that very government.

Trump’s attorneys claimed there was robust public interest in her accusations of sexual assault, so his statements of denial were in his official capacity as president. Insulting a singer by altering her words with ai doesn’t really seem all that tailored to any official government action.

The alleged defamation occurred while Trump was President; he argued his comments were in his official capacity (public interest in her accusations) and the courts determined otherwise.

The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

Lesson one: Yes, you can do a lot of things if you break the law.
Lesson two: Doing something is not the same as doing a good thing - it is harder to build than it is to destroy.
Trump has built nothing like the TVA. His lawbreaking is not "freeing the stuck wheels of bureaucracy."

What ended this for me was when she, earlier in the interview, said “it’s hard to have this conversation in public.” Hon, you are literally on the press tour for YOUR BOOK ABOUT THIS?!?!
