Just a reminder that Alex Acosta was appointed by Trump in 2017 as the U.S. Secretary of Labor, a cabinet level position that regulates human labor and combats *human trafficking*, after arranging for a sweetheart deal for Epstein as a U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida.

A friend recently insisted on reading Michael Ende's The NeverEnding Story aloud. Snorri reminds me of the Luck Dragon. This is the first time I have seen your wonderful drawings. Is there a link for more Snorri stories or images?

I saw her in a Broadway play, perhaps her last, and waited at the stage door to see her. I was amazed at how tiny she was, but regal as always.

Seeing Michael Gambon reminds me of his performance as a writer, who experiences hilariously surreal hallucinations as musical theater productions while in the hospital, in The Singing Detective. It was brilliant.

You do know that you can't "challenge" a Supreme Court decision, don't you? That's why it's packed with political operatives now who helped to engineer overturning that election. Gore & others thought they were doing something for the good of the country, but failed to foresee the future. ~FL voter

What are the names of these genius managers? They will destroy their own brand, which is known for integrity. Brilliant business move: undermine their own journalists, turn away readers who want to trust what they read, and screw democracy.

I think your students will enjoy some of the talks given by Dr. Irving Finkel, who is a curator of 135K tablets in the British Museum. He is revered as a scholar and also very entertaining.

Thank you for your talk with @ruthbenghiat.bsky.social, which was very focused and cogent. I think you mentioned the tech fascists' interest in setting up areas they control in Honduras, which sounds connected to the recent pardon of their corrupt ex-president Hernandez by DJT.
