I am in a maga suburb of atl, so I can only speak to here. But it's been a good recruitment tool. NK1 we had 2K turnout. NK2 was 7K. They're organized by local Indivisible or 50-50-1 groups. Once you join a group you get local calls to action at least weekly & it varies. Here's 1 that I just got:

Is my cat broken?
An orange cat sitting on a couch, leaning back on 1 front leg with the other front leg draped down the front of his body & between his spread open back legs. And he appears to be coving his crotch area with that front paw. His tail is sticking out directly in front of him, towards the camera. He looks like like he has melted into an orange cat blob who is very modest & looks completely ridiculous.

For approximately 5 miles I had to stare at young Elon Musk wearing a proud boy (or potential Best Buy employee) named Josh’s ‘uniform’ looking like he’s about to leap onto the hood of my car. Not disconcerting at all. But, hey, they’re hiring if anyone wants to work with (allegedly) Josh. 👀

I can't stop laughing at this YouTube suggestion for me. On the 1 hand, I think everything I need to know is in the title & video thumbnail. On the other hand I kind of want to know what about filling a bag with ice warranted 6 minutes of video content...so probably going to click on it...dammit

Oh yeah I always disable Siri on my Apple devices. My phone/tablet/computer doesn't need to know the sound of my voice. And nothing in my house does either. This old Tweet is basically me. I am the tech worker.
Tech enthusiasts: My entire house is smart. Tech workers: The only piece of technology in my house is a printer and I keep a gun next to it so I can shoot it if it makes a noise I don't recognize.

Aldi didn't roll back their DEI practices. They just renamed the "DEI" stuff on their US websites & are now calling it 'Inclusion & Engagement' (or something). But the same info is there & they still have that same sign on the front of the stores:
