Oh thank goodness. It's not just me.

I come from a mining family. My grandad was housebound from the age of 55, thumb sliced off and blinded in one eye. I would hope safety would improve, although profits always come first. I would rather pay more tax than open the mines.

I was having a check up at a new Drs surgery. Bloods came back with everything within acceptable levels. Somewhat surprised, I pointed at my rather fat stomach and said "surely not?". The German Dr wiggled his finger at my fat stomach and said, "we do not test for that!"😂

I'm a Scot living in Spain. My wife and I become very Spanish in the times we eat in the Summer, but gradually return to the more Scottish timings as the winter creeps in.

Or, we're like the Eloi in the summer and slowly return to our normal Morlock like look in the winter.
