Warren explained it well here. The US has a long history of interventionism and circumventing its own checks and balances, but this was a blatant violation of sovereignty and an action by a rogue president detached from norms and rules. What is "fair game" for others now?

There's no mechanism for undoing that (or a lot of what Trump has done) and no way to retroactively impact those he pardoned. Unless they crime again, they're free and clear.

Being unable to differentiate between criticizing the government of Israel from antisemitism is exactly why (among other reasons) many of us are sounding the alarm about Christian theocracy in the US.
