Giving myself a pat on the back. This is the best pizza crust I’ve made so far. Still learning so room for improvement, but overall pleased. Pics show progression from homemade dough to finished product. Recipe and description in alt. 🍽️ #homecooking #pizza

I really wish I could do pretty plates, but for now happy to settle with ugly delicious lol. This was mushroom and truffle risotto, topped with shelled, freshly steamed Dungeness crab. 🍽️ #homecooking #foodsky

So here is mushroom-stuffed roast pork loin with gribiche. Forgot the pic of the sauce. 😖 I should’ve cut the pork into thirds for the stuffing instead of just half and trying to jam it all in. Cooked to 145 and rested for 10 min, but I’d probably go to 140 next time. 🍽️ #homecooking

Today we have sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza. Crust crispy and airy, but middle soggy. Precooked crust for 3 min on pizza stone in a 550 degree oven, then topped and finished for 9 min. Sauce too watery, should’ve just crushed the tomatoes and not used the juices. 🍽️ #homecooking

Gotta share the bad as well as the good. Made lemon poppyseed muffins, but forgot to add eggs to the batter. 😖 They came out a little denser than usual, but not too bad probably thanks to the cake flour I used. Also was flakier than usual and didn’t rise or brown as usual. #homecooking
