If you are like me and nervous to make a phone call I recommend calling on a weekend/after hours. It has helped my social anxiety a lot and allowed me to make several calls. I have attached a script that I used for this issue with help from the attached post and from Bad Internet Bills script.

I'm doing better now but I have some closing thoughts I guess on the way our society treats neurodivergent people.
I have calmed down since my rant a few hours ago but I still feel that society has left leaning people need to realize that if you've met one person with a neurodivergent disability, you have just so happened to meet one person with a neurodivergent disability. I feel there are two main points I want to make about the struggles that neurodivergent people face. One is me wanting to ask even well meaning people is, “Would you treat someone with a disability that causes struggles with hearing, talking, and/or learning in a way where you at least don't understand how this doesn't have a major impact on their viewpoints and interpretations on stories and/or world affairs?". The other is me venting but I was in a Discord server that claimed to be very progressive but the head mod/owner of the server stated that he didn’t feel that game shows were part of neurodivergent culture and didn’t feel a need for there to be a neurodivergent culture in the same way that there is a queer culture. Which really grosses me out. I’ve left this server years ago but this really has hurt me coming from a place that should at least not have the most powerful person in the server question things like that.
