I remember getting a 3rd party program to help sort out the LODs for that Morthal swamp mod, then learning how to mod in order to get it all to work properly. A mod could certainly sort it out, but it would have to be super comprehensive and it's probably more trouble than it's worth lol

The longer it gets drawn out, the bigger chance you have of turning the audience against you in a way. I used to be ok with Persona 4, but now I can't stand it just because there was like a decade where you couldn't get away from it, lol.

I can understand the feeling of wanting to know for sure, but that's kind of part of the fun too. If The Ring is any indication, a western version of Noroi would be changed so much. A movie that's slow burn AND has an ambiguous ending? No way that gets made in this comic book movie era.

It feels like a lot of people can't handle any sense of ambiguity. It can certainly feel like a cop-out sometimes, but for this case in particular it seemed good enough to me. Plus, any story you imagine for yourself would probably beat whatever ham-fisted romance Bethesda would have conjured up.

That's ok, she's not better than random Markarth priestess anyway. Actually, do you have a favorite follower? I remember really liking the dark elf w/ goggles that you meet on Solstheim, and before that pretty much just ignored them, unless I was doing an Orc stronghold-based character.

Yeah I really didn't like how "epic" they tried to make the thieves guild, I would have greatly preferred to just be a very good thief and that's it. Every quest line tried so hard to make your character the most important coolest person in the world, and that's not very appealing to me.

Yeah they suck. They're fun the first time just for the novelty of it, but man, in my thousands of hours in that game, I don't think I did any guild questline more than twice. Maybe not even twice; I only really remember doing the thieves guild twice, but not the rest.

That's probably true lol, though I think I saw a familiar character on the poster. I only played it for like 2 hours though, so idk lol

Apparently the manga this is adapted from was just set in 1992 entirely, which sounds better than time travel imo, but maybe this will be enjoyable too.

Yeah that's fair, at least those are all "cities" w/ an enclosed area and all that, if it wasn't for the big WINTERHOLD on the map, you wouldn't think much of anything about the place if you just happened to find it. Unrelated, but did you know there was an anime for the game you have 17 copies of?

Yeah that's fair, at least those are all "cities" w/ an enclosed area and all that, if it wasn't for the big WINTERHOLD on the map, you wouldn't think much of anything about the place if you just happened to find it. Unrelated, but did you know there was an anime for the game you have 17 copies of?
That kind of sums up a lot of major cities lol, I remember wondering what the cloud district in Whiterun was when I first played, only to learn it was just the houses at the top of a single staircase, as if the common folk can't climb stairs. Winterhold is definitely the worst of them, though.

I also had mods that cleared out the trees and stuff to change the general aesthetic of the area around Morthal, it was a complete pain to set up properly but it made me like Morthal even more than I already did.

Yeah Winterhold doesn't really feel like a major city at all. In general when the only major city I'd visit is Windhelm, because I had some arena mods and I always made my Argonian characters start there for the RP lol. My favorite city is Morthal, I always set up some mods and live there.
