Pretty sure GCN meant “e.g.” not “i.e.”

Never mind that 38% of registered voters are independent, more than either registered Ds or Rs. Independents get no say in election administration in North Carolina, which is not only blatantly unfair, but results in decisions that are—or at least appear to be—horribly partisan. Let’s fix this!
