With the aftermath of the 2024 US Election, I believe that there are the 3 main reasons that Harris lost and Trump won:
1) Messaging on the Economy (in relation to housing in Blue states)
2) Lower left wing turnout due to both the war in Gaza and dissatisfaction with the direction of the party

So, it is clear that one of the reasons for Trump's popular vote victory in not necessarily because of a substantial performance and breakthrough in the state, but because of a depression in turnout amongst Democratic voters. Harris got roughly 400,000 less raw votes then Biden in 2020
