After today, results updates will include any resolved signature challenges and whatever very small number of on-time ballots still arrive through the mail through the 24th.

Counted means tabulated…basically. If your tracking says counted *before* 8pm on election night that means it is ready to be tabulated after 8pm on election night (when the law allows that first tabulation).

We have around 120k left to count after today's results - around 45k of which are from Seattle.

"Received" ballots are at the beginning of the process. They've gone through the sort machine and had their Ballot ID numbers logged into the system. After they've been received, they need their signatures verified, then to be opened, then to be scanned before they can be tabulated.
