Quick question:

Did anybody ever tell Rick Flag Sr. about Ilana's plan in CC? The Bride told somebody given it's talked about in the ending with Economos, but when Flag mentions it in Peacemaker, he calls it a case of defying orders for the better, suggesting he doesn't know Ilana was playing him.

Honestly the one thing 4 had going for it is that it had a much clearer and more direct antagonist compared to 1-3, and he was legitimately cool. That’s what made 5 and Infinite fall apart because they were scrambling to come up with fresh new villains to carry the series.

4 has its moments but after 5 and Infinite it’s pretty clear they have no clue where to take the story next so it ends with this feeling that we’ve gone in a complete circle. I wonder if there’s another word for that…

I’ll be honest you can probably just stop after 3 and Reach. Those were intended to be the final games before 343 came in and there’s a sense of finality to 3 with Reach serving as an effective enough prequel to the trilogy.

Same. The only way I can watch something new is if I’m watching it with someone like my mom or friends because then I can chat it up with someone while keeping my attention on screen.

I have the same thoughts about Stanley Kubrick. Made some insanely fantastic films, but he seems like the last person I ever want to be around just because of how miserably toxic he is.
