I had planned to give the Poirot game a third chance today, but I'm just not having fun with it. Paired with viewer protests at the mere mention of the game, I have decided to shelve it, at least for now. This leaves today's stream wide open. So I'm live in 30 minutes or so with... something.

Having finished this yesterday, I am somewhat surprised to say that Lord Winklebottom Investigates has been one of my favourite gaming experiences this year. Stylish, sharply written, and outrageously funny, I'd say it's one of the best 5-hour adventures money can buy.

I find myself periodically returning to Alice Cooper's Hey Stoopid from 1991. Released the same year as Nevermind, it's pretty much a swan song effort for that very particular 80s sound. Without knowing why, I'm often drawn to albums from transitional phases.
