Own a whippet love the Toon. Head too small for a flat cap. Proud of North East and Norse heritage.
I hope everyone is happy now that people can do and say anything they want. The world's a much better place for this free speech. Isn't it ?

I think he owes us more for the support we gave him. His career was screwed and we supported him. It's bad form if he's looking
February 3, 2026 at 7:12 PM
Ohhh slightly disagree on one point, if anyone should stop it's him like. But I'd still sell if they offer the right price - as long as we get our scouting together and replace well
February 3, 2026 at 1:39 PM
Madness absolute madness - move on and if he ends up back here in the future at some point on a free great if not there are better players out there. At way more reasonable Prices

Speak for yourself man 😁- I like Anderson but he's not someone I'd be rushing out to buy for a big amount of money. I think he's a little over rated. Analyst love him and he's a local lad. He's another good prem player but he's not elite
February 3, 2026 at 11:09 AM
Yes exactly. A Brazilian club would be the least worst application of this. As long as that clubs integrity was maintained
February 3, 2026 at 10:43 AM
Sad but true - the multi club sucks as well. A proud old club like Strasbourg become nothing but a Petri dish for blue co. Awful
February 3, 2026 at 10:24 AM
I rather fight to keep Tino over the others, Gordon would be the first one out as I think Arsenal and Liverpool would be super keen as would he. And there are so many excellent RW out there.
February 3, 2026 at 10:18 AM
We need to play the Chelsea game and similar to what we did with Minteh, so the likes of Cordero or Park develop then and introduce them or make money on them. It does require us to get shifting on that academy to bring them in young. I don't like that farm approach but that's what PSR is driving.
February 3, 2026 at 10:12 AM
This has been on the cards all year - rumours about his agent in talks with Real and others. He's going to move in the summer - we all just need to accept it & there are better players out there. He's never fully developed into the player we need him to be, so maximise the profit and reinvest well
February 3, 2026 at 9:01 AM
Tonali & Gordon should be the ones we look to move for a good profit. The project has stalled and in terms of where we go from here the sporting director role needs to be key to set that strategy and make sure we sign the right players to move us forward. There are a lot of players out there
February 3, 2026 at 8:15 AM
I loved watching him last year he was so much fun - he's suffering a little as the way we play isnt right for him. He started brightly but he's losing the spark. I'm not sure about the Andy Howe effect. Always quite liked who we were linked with when Nickson had the keys to the scouting department
February 2, 2026 at 9:00 PM
We really do and without the champions league we need to trusted scouting more - go for the Nickson type players.
February 2, 2026 at 4:07 PM
Ah soz, yeah fair enough. Defo done ok.
February 2, 2026 at 3:55 PM
I'm fine with going elsewhere. He's decent, his numbers are good and he's an analysts wet dream - but when it comes to effecting games I don't see it so much. He's nowhere near Rice as an actual footballer tbf.
February 2, 2026 at 3:50 PM
Yeah agreed. I'd still rather go overseas and buy someone at a sensible price than go for Anderson. He's fine but I think if we were to shift Tonali I'd want more than what Anderson offers. Miley is better anyway. But I'd defo hope to see us play the long game with Anderson on a free.
February 2, 2026 at 3:20 PM
We'd be crazy to pay the money they will ask for Anderson. He's good, he's not that good - in the prem I'd rather have Wharton in that position all day. However if Anderson were to run down his contract and become a free agent 😁
February 2, 2026 at 3:12 PM
Agree he's the type of signing who can take us to a different style with the right players around him. Elanga and Gordon suite the other bloke who nicked off. We need to buy a technical creative midfielder and RF. RF with a left foot. Gutted we haven't tried for Rayan.
January 27, 2026 at 8:51 AM
I'm much more worried about our tactical identity and strategy going forward than the players - all of those players we've signed had stellar seasons last year (barring Ramsey). There aren't many teams across Europe don't use a 10 anymore.
January 26, 2026 at 2:30 PM
Agreed fairly comfortable 2-0 that could end perhaps should have been more - also think anyone blaming the forwards is missing the issue
January 25, 2026 at 5:34 PM
It's very reductive - worse when Wolt is on - it's pretty reductive for the type of player he is, he was so much fun to watch at stuttgart - He was having fun. If we didn't want that version of him we should t have signed him. I know prem is twice as quick to be fair but let's try it his way
January 25, 2026 at 5:32 PM
Christ back to school for me 'mid table' 'other than getting it wide'
January 25, 2026 at 4:06 PM
Nailed it
January 25, 2026 at 4:04 PM
In truth we were bossed there Villa could have been 4 or 5 up if they'd picked the right passes. They looked a team in 3rd we looked mid take team with a lack of ideas other getting wider and lashing in balls
