It's not a big deal for most apps but this one has a very serious threat model.

No, there are inherent privacy flaws in iOS. Namely that Apple knows exactly what apps everyone is using, and that they don't support third-party push notification services. Again due to character limits I can't really elaborate properly.

Either it's a problem or isn't. So which one is it?
July 3, 2025 at 2:13 AM
Then as I said, they need to stop pretending that it's about privacy.
July 3, 2025 at 1:39 AM
The only limitations are the ones currently applied. I'm suggesting removing them.

Also what is an "opt-in app store"?
July 3, 2025 at 1:28 AM
I didn't say you were. ICEBlock is.
July 3, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Then they shouldn't use it. Officials are already threatening to charge app users. This software demands the highest levels of privacy and security.

And if ICEBlock thinks it doesn't, then don't use it as an excuse.

Due to shitty character limits I can't really explain this properly.
July 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM
This explanation is nonsense. 1. the government has been collecting push notification data from both Google and Apple for a long time 2. Android is the only platform that supports alternative push methods. 3. Apple collects IDs of users installing. FDroid doesn't.

Oh the irony of owning an AI company and complaining publicly about shitty AI 😆
January 5, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Very easy when the government removes all crash regulations and basically gives them away.
January 5, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Better not buy an ICE car then, considering they've been OEM unlockable since 1997 and are statistically 3x more likely to catch fire.

...you realize Honda is doing so badly that they're looking to merge with Nissan and Mitsubishi?

*whoosh*

1. Consider the fAcT that 99% of the time you will be charging in your driveway and range anxiety is non-existent.

2. Yes, gas and diesel cars absolutely do wear out, just like batteries.

Not hard to outgrow them when you're starting with virtually nothing.

Why wouldn't they be?
