Replace "white" with "Jewish" and the fourteen words have basically *always* been Zionism's raison d'etre. Blood-and-soil ethno-nationalisms are all at bottom the same idea (whether it's the 1930's Germans, Israel, or now in the US MAGA).

Moving to an already established city that had existed for 70 years prior isn't a crime. No-one was displaced or harmed by those actions; all of that happened decades earlier. This is a very different thing than a Zionist stealing the home of a Palestinian family in the West Bank.

Kentucky became a state in 1792. Not that much younger. Louisville was founded in 1780. Westward expansion, as far as Kentucky goes, was already a done deal before 1800.

The eastern, urban US...NYC, Boston, etc, and also southern cities like New Orleans and Charleston and Savannah, where most 19th century Irish immigrants ended up, had been settled for a century or more. Calling that "settler colonialism" is a stretch.

Pretty sure my widowed 3rd great-grandmother wasn't displacing any Native Americans when she settled in Louisville, Kentucky, in the late 1840s with her children. Is the USA a settler-colonial society? Yes. Did every single 19th century immigrant participate in westward expansion? No.

This is mythology, they absolutely were. Catholics have been in the USA since before it existed; one signed the Declaration of Independence. The Chief Justice who authored the odious opinion in Dred Scott v Sandford was Catholic, and no-one thought he wasn't white.

I miss 1.0 quickhacking when legendary contagion would take out a whole crew of scavs/Wraiths/whoever in about 30 seconds. I get why they made the changes (to make things more like the anime series, for people who came to the game from that), but I don't care for a lot of them.

Not everyone; a fair number of Irish immigrants who came to America because Britain was starving them to death didn't have anything to do with westward expansion or settler-colonialism. Whiteness isn't a monolithic identity.
