Oh dear… I’m a fan of William Dalrymple, books & fab podcast Empire & have been astonished at the skewed history of India we’ve inherited.
Most recently, I learned that George Orwell (then Eric Blair) was born & worked in India & the plot of Animal Farm applies equally to India & USSR. Who knew🤷♀️

Her explanation was convoluted & I think supposed to be based on his unresolved trauma, not easy to reconcile with the ranting, intimidating Mad Hatter persona he portrays. Sorry but I’m not going to watch it again to be more accurate, it was throwing a halo over a toad & now I know it was lies 🤷♀️
