In the end, the return on investment won't be there. They've bought into the same promise that's fooled all those companies who are reporting they're not seeing any gains for this and are having to rehire people they fired.

It’s the fantasy of efficiency. They keep selling everyone on the false idea that this magic box will save you money in time and labor but the NEW version on the way will double that. And it is always a lie. But line goes up so they deny the evidence and jump on board. It’s a big stupid con.
