I picked this up from my public library a few months ago. Enjoyed it.

Some of the events are likely free and kinda fun. As a kid in Long Beach in 84 my parents drove us to Mission Viejo to watch the road bike race because it was free. Enjoyed it, but i wouldn’t spend a lot to go to the stadiums

I didn’t see any in Avalon this summer whereas I saw a few each time I was there during the Biden years
