If the only reason people are moral is because they’re afraid of being punished by a higher being then are they moral at all? It’s always funny when they ask how people would know what morality is without church when it’s not even complicated.

The US has a lot to learn from Romania. Like what happens when a country does a complete ban on abortion and contraception.

Yeah, automate what? The point is anything that was in transit before the tariffs has been off loaded and is now making its way through ground transport. That’s it. There are no more ships coming in. Once all the stuff has sold and is gone there will be no trucks either.

Except that’s not what the little book says. That’s the problem. I’m not a Christian myself even though I’ve been baptized but let’s not lump every person in the same bag here. Generalizations aimed at a subgroup is how we get racism, sexism, etc.

I was just having a “Biden bad and democrats are exactly the same as republicans” conversation on this one. The guy seemed confused that a president can’t just magically stop funding. It’s what Trump got impeached for the first time.

Armed? Likely not. They’ll go for the guns sooner or later. Pregnant though? Yeah probably. That’s the whole point of screwing the FDA over. When child mortality rate due to preventable diseases skyrockets we’ll be back to families having 10-12 kids in the hopes some make it to adulthood.

You mean like when Lindsay Graham said that he can ignore passed laws by executive order? Republicans aren’t coming to help us. He literally doesn’t have the power to do this as it’s congress that passes the budget.

We had our chance in November. At this point we’re fucked. And no, they don’t want to kill the poor. They just want to keep them poor, uneducated, and angry to create a new serf class. This isn’t solely on Trump either. Republicans can stop him but aren’t doing anything.

It’s a lot more than that. School lunch programs for kids of low income backgrounds, food stamps, wic, childcare aid, hospitals in rural areas, and on, and on. This seems intended to cause a riot so he can invoke the insurrection act.
